    Welcome to the Fireside Restaurant website.  We are located within the Prospect Country Store to serve you breakfast, brunch or lunch.   Visiting a new restaurant for the first time can make you a little weary and wondering what type of food and service you can expect.  We would like to give a brief description of what you can expect when you walk through our doors.

The Scene:

   A warm and home like atmosphere with the smell of fresh home baked goods and fresh hot coffee lingering in the air.  Our seating is arranged for maximum comfort and relaxation.  In the colder months you may like to take advantage of one of the many tables that are nestled close to our working wood stoves and fireplaces.   No matter what the conditions are outside, the atmosphere is always perfect inside.   Our friendly and courteous staff will always welcome you with a smile and deliver the best service possible. 

The Plot:

   You open the menu and feast your eyes on a wonderful selection of fresh baked and home style selections.  Special orders are always welcomed and all items can be cooked to your specifications.  Generous helpings are always provided to assure that you leave with a satisfied appetite.  From a cup of coffee and toast to a Lumber Jack special, we can please all pallets.  Being that our roots are from Maine, we will not settle for anything less than  home style service with a smile. 

The Story:

   Satisfaction is always guaranteed!  So come and visit us for breakfast or lunch and see for yourself why our customers keep coming back.  We are less than 2 minutes off of Route 8 (Union City exit) heading towards Prospect up Route 68.   You will not find this quality of food and service in a drive thru.  So treat yourself to a wonderful experience by stopping by and relaxing over one of our home cooked meals.

  (with peppers and onions mixed into the hamburger!)
